Stuck in this habitual state

Where I will always remain.

This self inflicted anguish, it never ceases to exist.

Yet after every cycle I pick up and persist, it's all I know.

Hanging on by a single thread. Not even safe inside my head.

It's these overarching fears that constantly seem to interfere, with becoming who I have to be.

I've led myself to believe that there isn't any hope left for me.

There's no hope for me.

My foundation reduces to dust.

I contemplate the solace in giving up.

Still searching for a glimpse of strength that was never there to begin with.

Let me sink here with my doubt.

Self-feeding lies.

Strip me down.

Leave me blind.

Keep me numb.

Just until I die.

Let me see the surface, let me feel the sunlight one last time.

Try to breach the surface, atleast to catch my fucking breath.

Separate myself.

Separate from everyone else.
